Time for a little holiday cheer! Though our post-Thanksgiving weekend tradition of picking out a tree and decorating the home is in its fifth year, this was a first for our SF chapter. The setting is much different than last year, but I am thankful that M and I are adaptable and create a cozy home anywhere we live.
Tree shopping at the huge indoor lot at Fort Mason. Wonderful customer service, and complementary Bloody Mary's as we browsed.
A sunny bridge view from the tree lot.
Tallest tree yet, coming in at ~9 feet! | New stockings from the Williams-Sonoma sample sale.
Extra Noble Fir branches suspended in the entryway.
Another use of extra branches.
The Christmas lights and bountiful candles inject warmth in the short, dark days. I am happy for this time of year to count blessings, share gifts, and embrace family.
