Now that I've set a new year intention, it's time to create an action plan.
I'm going to be setting and sharing monthly goals here on the blog, and each month I will check in with a progress update. My very private self feels a bit uncomfortable sharing these goals with the universe, so I will try to balance personal privacy and public accountability. No super juicy details here. But, this little blog is partly an experiment in vulnerability, so I hope to open up with this challenge. See my January goals below, if you'd like.
1. Service camera and take intro photography course online - This serious amateur needs to learn the basics beyond auto and trial-and-error.
2. Complete Barre3 Challenge - Excited about working off some of my holiday indulgences, and the chance to take my mom to a class when she visits this month.
3. Cook 3 yummy meals each week, using new recipes - Sounds simple, but I have gotten lazy in the kitchen. There really are so many healthy restaurants and grab-and-go options in Austin (hello, Whole Foods every day of the week), but I want to step up my game at home.
4. Travel - Yes, we are just returning from holiday travel, but this goal is a big one for me in 2015. Even if it is a day trip, I want to explore a new town/attraction. I also hope to buy a ticket to visit a friend in the mountains.
Do you have any goals for January? I would love to hear them.
